I have always loved this place, but had a bad experience at the deli today. The girl was in an awful mood, you could tell she was annoyed when I walked up. I ordered 3 pieces of the Roman pizza and watched her purposely shake the pizza and dump all the toppings off, put it in a box and hand it to me. I paid $12 for 3 little squares of dough.

Beautiful local Italian market. Extremely clean and better quality than other larger natural food retailers. The fresh pasta and pizza crust is out of this world. I got some local pasta sauce and fresh mozzarella and my spouse said it was on par with what he’s had in Italy. Perfect size (not too big) and easy to get around. 10/10 recommend, and don’t forget to join their rewards program.

What a wonderful selection of delicious eats they have. Their coffee counter has some of the best drinks in Toledo for much less than the stands. I highly recommend giving them a try. Marchetta ( spelling is wrong I'm sure) was so helpful & informative. Their checkers were kind, cheerful & helpful too. They have me as a customer for sure. Fresh bread, pastries, cheeses, salads, meats, sandwiches oh my! The hummus was Delicious! Dolmas ( stuffed grape leaves) were amazing. Hurry, get yourself to SoFo's for some yummy snacks, lunch or Dinner! Bon Appétit

It's clean, it's quality, and the service is almost entirely great. The wine selection is surprisingly diverse - and heavily, actually European! - for the store not being huge. Many cheeses and other specialties are equally hard (or impossible) to find elsewhere. This is truly an Italian/European market. There's good reason you see Sofo supply higher-end restaurants regionally. I'm originally from up near Detroit and find this Toledo gem better than most Euro-style markets up there. The only downside is very pricey standard items such as run-of-the-mill produce, dairy, boxed foods found at Aldi for 1/2 the price just across the road. I wouldn't shop for the whole list here, but this is the place to go for the good stuff you can't get at the other places. Altogether great. Worth a visit.

I haven’t been here in probably 20 years, but me and Sofos.. we’ve got some history. In the early 90’s I had lost my favorite stuffed animal in the store and my beloved “bunny” sat in the front window for a week because they saved it for me! I came for a quick walk-through memory lane and grabbed a couple items. I asked about a cold tote so I could get some freezer items but they didn’t carry any- that would be my 1 suggestion to get some insulated bags.
